MISSION CONTROL 04 / AGENTIC RESEARCH TEAM

R&D + ACADEMIC + CORPORATE RESEARCH

From research question to evidence-backed review package.

This room shows a governed research team separating literature intake, source analysis, synthesis, question formation, methods planning, writing, citation audit, peer-style review, and final human scholarly responsibility. It is designed to make evidence and uncertainty visible instead of letting one model silently generate a polished answer.

01 / RESEARCH PROBLEM

A fluent research answer is not the same thing as a defensible research result.

The demo keeps source evidence, synthesis, hypotheses, methods, generated prose, citation support, review findings, and final scholarly judgment as separate states.

OUTCOME

Accelerate evidence organization

Turn a bounded research topic and approved source set into inspectable summaries, synthesis, research questions, methods planning, and review artifacts.

EVIDENCE LAYER

Papers + metadata + provenance

Sources are normalized before synthesis. The system preserves which claims come from which evidence and surfaces gaps rather than inventing support.

FAIL-CLOSED CONDITIONS

Missing evidence, fabricated citations, unsupported claims

Critical provenance gaps, requests to invent sources or results, unresolved citation failures, and incomplete upstream stages stop release.

PROTECTED AUTHORITY

No autonomous scholarly sign-off

The system can prepare a research package, but final claims, methods, ethics decisions, submission, authorship, and publication responsibility remain human.

02 / RESEARCH SYSTEM STACK

Evidence collection, reasoning, evaluation, and authority remain distinct.

Click any card to inspect what it consumes, produces, can access, and must never claim or do autonomously.

        04 / RESEARCH CAPACITY MODEL

Connect research operations to portfolio capacity.

This is an illustrative planning model, not a guarantee of research productivity, quality, publication, or savings.

        PROJECTS IN SCOPEillustrative
PREPARATION HOURS IN SCOPEhours / month
        MONTHLY CAPACITY VALUEillustrative exposure
        ANNUAL CAPACITY VALUEnot guaranteed savings

The model values preparation hours that fall inside the selected workflow share. It does not assume every hour can be eliminated. Real value depends on source access, domain complexity, data quality, required expert review, statistical analysis, ethics requirements, model/tool cost, and the quality threshold for the work.

05 / HOW A CLIENT WOULD DEPLOY THIS

Start with bounded research support, then prove reliability before expanding scope.

The system should first support literature organization and internal research planning, with researchers reviewing every material claim and citation.

        1

        Define research scope

Identify topics, approved sources, confidentiality, data classes, ethics constraints, target outputs, and accountable researchers.

        2

        Build evidence ingestion

Connect approved paper libraries and preserve metadata, source identity, versions, access rights, and provenance.

        3

        Run shadow research

Compare summaries, synthesis, questions, and methods plans against work produced by human researchers.

        4

        Measure research quality

Track citation completeness, unsupported-claim rate, synthesis faithfulness, method completeness, reviewer disagreement, and reproducibility.

        5

        Test integrity failures

Verify that requests to fabricate papers, citations, evidence, statistical significance, or reviewer approval are rejected and logged.

        6

        Human-reviewed production use

Expand only after quality gates are stable, provenance is inspectable, and accountable researchers retain final authority.

        MISSION CONTROL 04

Bring one research workflow. Make every source, handoff, gap, and review decision inspectable.

The public room demonstrates the control pattern. A client deployment would replace synthetic source records with approved libraries, internal repositories, model-backed specialists, research databases, durable project memory, and organization-specific evaluation.
